GAC Australia’s EOFY Deals: What’s On Offer for the Aion UT, Aion V and M8 PHEV

Published:

If you’ve been sitting on the fence about one of GAC’s new energy vehicles, the end of financial year might be the nudge you’ve been waiting for.

GAC Australia has just dropped a set of EOFY offers across its NEV lineup, and there’s a mix of finance deals, cashback bonuses and free hardware on the table depending on which model you’re looking at.

Orders need to be in before 30 June 2026, with deliveries to follow by 30 September 2026. Here’s a breakdown of what’s available on the three electric and plug-in hybrid models.

Aion UT — From $32,990 Drive Away

The Aion UT is GAC’s compact all-electric hatchback, and it’s the most accessible entry point into the brand’s EV range. For EOFY, every Aion UT purchase comes with a free 22kW AC wall charger included. If you’re stepping up to the Luxury variant, there’s also a $1,000 cashback bonus on top of that.

Getting a 22kW charger bundled in at this price point is genuinely useful as that would normally set you back a few hundred dollars on top of a new car purchase, so it’s a solid inclusion.

Aion V — From $42,590 MSRP

The Aion V is GAC’s mid-size electric SUV, and the EOFY deal gives buyers two paths depending on which variant they’re after.

Both variants are eligible for a finance offer sitting at a 0.99% comparison rate per annum, across a 36-month term with a 10% deposit and no balloon payment. If you’re buying the Premium variant and you’d rather skip the finance and take cash, there’s a $2,000 cashback option instead. Either way, a free 22kW wall charger is included across both options.

That 0.99% comparison rate is worth paying attention to. In the current rate environment, that’s a meaningfully low cost of borrowing for a new vehicle.

M8 PHEV — From $76,590 MSRP

The M8 PHEV is a plug-in hybrid MPV and notably, GAC is pitching it as Australia’s first PHEV in that body style. It’s the top of the NEV range price-wise, and the EOFY offer structure mirrors the Aion V setup: two options across all variants.

Option one is a finance deal at a 2.99% comparison rate, 36-month term, 10% deposit and 0% balloon. Option two is a $1,000 cashback, available on all variants this time rather than being restricted to a specific trim level. Like the Aion V, a free 22kW wall charger is included with both options.
